I have practicing the art of photography for over 12 years now. My children were sweet little boys when it all began and now they are sweet big teen boys. I won’t make your roll your eyes by telling you how fast it all goes, but I will be thinking it while I photograph the details of the current chapter of your story.

I capture babies as a mother who has a fuzzy memory for all the sweet moments amidst the exhaustion and now I look back and long to revisit those exhausting, sacred early moments and days.

I capture weddings as a wife who deeply loves her husband and recognizes the time and effort you have put into each detail of your day, but more importantly, the beauty that is planted in covenant love between a husband and wife that extends and grows far beyond the wedding day.

I capture families knowing that it is hard, messy work and also a beautiful blessing — the mix of those two truths makes for some really fun and special images.

My goals as a photographer include the following :

• practice seeing what most tend to overlook

• synthesize an experience down to the essence, including light, emotion and connection

• honor the beauty of human existence

• open my eyes to see more clearly myself, others, creation and our Creator

• leading myself and others into praise and greater praise
